What is Wyrdhaven Studio?
 Wyrdhaven
Studio and Workshop is your haven
for all things fairy, fantasy, mythical, magickal, and wild...from
the brush of Beth Hansen-Buth
Each painting takes you to a new place filled with
fantasy creatures, gods, goddesses and magical folk. Inspired
by Beth's life-long love affair with fantasy, fairy and myth,
her paintings are filled with light as each image takes on a life
of it's own. The meaning she found when painting them may not
be the same that you find when viewing them, but each has a story
to tell of it's own.
 
Not your ordinary fantasy
artist
Beth is not only a fan and long-time SF&F convention
attendee (19 years and counting) she's also a classically trained
oil painter. All the artwork you see here is created in Beth's
home studio in a 97 year old bungalow in Minneapolis Minnesota,
the heart of Midwestern Fantasy and SF Fandom, and home to some
of the world's best artists and authors in the genre. We're not
sure why so much talent has formed in the center of the North
American continent, but it has.

After years of struggling to produce her own prints,
wrangling with licensing contracts with manufacturers, and working
past the point of exhaustion at festivals and fairs, Beth decided
she'd had enough. It was time to take matters into her own hands
